Made entirely of teak
In the past, you would find this type of cabinet in the homes of better-off families, in both North and South India. The difference is that in the north the cabinets were more often painted, while in the south the teak was more often left visible.
The sides are made of teak panels.
The 2 doors are divided by handsome crossbars, giving you 4 equal panes of glass.
In India the colour is described as pigeon blue. A fairly neutral, pastel-like blue.
Should you want a different colour for any reason, we can change it at a very reasonable price.
Original teak cabinets are getting harder and harder to find. That does not stop us from continuing to search for beautiful, affordable pieces.
